My friend Kenny linked me to this video late last night, which in turn resulted in myself going to bed at 8am. It inspired me to fill several pages with words coaxed out by this short. I can’t seem to stop watching and admiring all of the different aspects that make all 10 minutes melt into a glorious arrangement on film. It captures the beauty of bringing nostalgia so close and familiar to almost everyones heart. Whimsical and warm, I can’t stop watching.

Nighttime

I’ve spent the last few nights getting lost in my thoughts for hours before I actually fall asleep. I’ll lay in bed, stare into the darkness and then my thoughts run. I’ll sort them out, smoothing out knots here and there, and tuck them away into the various corners of my mind. What seemed like ten minutes turned out to be an hour and a half. I’ll finally decide to close my eyes and my thoughts run free again. I feel restless, unable to stop my mind from wandering. I’m losing sleep.
